Only 6 out of the 35 OAS Member States are party to the CIRDI. Of the remaining 29 members, 7 have already signed the Convention.
Ratifications: Antigua and Barbuda, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, and Uruguay.
Signatories who have not ratified: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Haiti, Panama, and Peru.
Race & Equality’s campaign engages with State Parties to the Convention who support the Campaign through direct diplomacy, sharing their national practices and challenges with other governments, and hosting and participating in various activities to promote the ratification and implementation of the CIRDI.
